The New Zealand Women's Maritime Association

The NZWMA was formed in 1995 to promote friendship & support among seafaring women of New Zealand.

Membership is for all women working in and retired from the maritime industry and granted on approval to women who have maritime interests.

We hold meetings and social events at various locations around New Zealand and our AGM is in August.

Members include women from the Merchant Navy, Fishing Industry, Tourist and Ferry Vessel Operators, Yacht and Motor Vessel Deliverers, Surveyors, Educators, Charter Operators, Marine Radio Operators and those with Maritime Interests.

The NZWMA produces a quarterly newsletter which is sent to members. Original contributions are welcome.
