evenings will be held on Monday 27th of November and Friday 1st of
December. Come along and learn some basic skills and find out what to do
when things go wrong. These evenings are especially helpful for women new to
boating who would like to gain confidence on the water. Contact

2004:
 | The NZWMA will be running a boating basics evening for women on December
3rd in conjunction with Bucklands Beach Yacht
Club and Howick
Volunteer Coastguard. The
evening will be a fun and informative introduction to boat handling,
man-overboard rescue and radio communications. The aim is to give women
heading out on the water this summer the confidence to keep safe and to deal
with emergencies effectively. For more information, contact the secretary. |
 | The NZWMA 9th birthday barbeque will be held on November 19th from 1830
hours at the Outboard Boating Club, Tamaki
Drive, Auckland. Friends and family welcome, BYO everything. (Note the change
